My subconscious probably chose it because a problem I had feared would cause major upsets had just that morning dissolved, so the occasion was a happy one. As an earworm, the song – however beautiful it is – frustates me, as getting the melody right defeats me every time, and there I am, stuck with some snatches in my head and unable to put them together properly. And of course, it’s not entirely unproblematic in the film either – as you can see if you watch the clip above. Still, it’s lovely.
