PG Forte’s This Winter Heart and Stacy Gail’s Crime Wave in a Corset are two of my favorites. They are available as a stand-alone novellas or in the A Clockwork Christmas anthology which also includes Wanted: One Scoundrel by Jenny Schwartz and Far From Broken by JK Coi.

Coleen Kwan has written several novellas and short stories including Asher’s Invention and Asher’s Dilemma . My favorite of hers is a short story, Eye of the Beholder

The Schwartz novella above is part of a trilogy, but they are still in my TBR.

I’ve not read too much else (I’m currently reading Meljean Brook’s Iron Seas series) so hopefully there are others who can be of more help. I do know Carina Press has published steampunk stories by a variety of authors. If you search Steampunk on their site it will show you titles.

Another big seller was Gail Carriger’s The Parasol Protectorate series, but I haven’t read them. If you do a power search here at AAR, you can select Steampunk under the Book Type dropdown menu and then click search and it brings up two pages of reviews by various authors.
