I love romance novels - all kinds. I love music - some kinds. I have strong opinions about both and I like to share them.

I'm particularly fond of queer historical romance, especially those set in the Regency period. I've been reading a lot more contemporary novels recently, and I love books in a series - especially if they feature athletes!
Favorite Non-Romance
John Irving, A Prayer for Owen Meany - for many years, I gave this as a Christmas gift to anyone I knew who loved books. I recommend it to anyone, even if you aren't a John Irving fan (I'm not).
Donna Tartt, The Secret History - well. It's just excellent.
JK Rowling, Harry Potter (all of them!) - seriously, they're amazing. If you stopped at book one, you must be tired of hearing people tell you 'you should have kept going.' Just in case you aren't, I'll say it again - keep going. THEY'RE AMAZING.
What I Love in a Romance
Happily ever afters; dual PoVs; strong female characters
What I Hate in a Romance
Authors who tell me how to feel.
A Bit More About Me
I'm married to my high school sweetheart and we have two little boys.
My father is a retired Navy pilot and I grew up in lots of different places. I met my husband when my dad was stationed in Virginia, I have a BA from James Madison University, 2 married sisters who live in San Francisco (I used to too), I love to travel (especially to CA), and I'm learning calligraphy.
Professionally, I'm a middle school PE teacher. I love having my summers off - and hate admitting I live in Florida. It was an accident. I promise.
