Did you like The English Patient? The Horse Whisperer? The Bridges of Madison County? I’m probably the only person I know who basically hated them. There is a single thread that runs through these books, and you know what it is – infidelity. Pardon me, but just when did cheating on your perfectly nice spouse get to be okay? My feelings on this matter have nothing to do with religious beliefs, just my own personal sense of honor. Yes, cheating happens, apparently more often than we realize … and when it does, lots of nice people get hurt. Is infidelity a good foundation for a romance novel? … not to me.

If you’re looking for a romance to curl up with tonight, you won’t find it in this trilogy. What you’ll get for your $18, is 3 mini-books of e-mail messages between an adultress and an alcholic who become involved in an on-line affair … which leads to a calculated physical affair … which leads to love. To top it all off, there is no happy ending.
