Irish Magic II

Hooray for an anthology with four strong stories! If you are looking for a consistent anthology, one which delivers strong stories by each author participating, look no further. If, as I am, you are a sucker for things Irish, for magic and mystery and beauty in the mist, look no further. Irish Magic II delivers in a way Irish Magic did not. Morgan Llywelyn has written a mystical historical nearly as magical as her selkie story in the first anthology. Barbara Samuel’s story surpasses her cautionary tale of beauty from the first book, and Susan Wiggs and Roberta Gellis each deliver a much stronger story this time around, especially the latter. Most especially the latter.
