Scottish Brides is an entertaining anthology that lovers of Scottish historicals will enjoy. The darker tone of Karen Ranney’s novella is definitely different than the varyingly lighter tones of the three other novellas presented. Of the four, only Dodd’s story comes up short – but then, it is only 61 pages long.
