To be honest, I sometimes think I like the idea of erotica better than I do actual erotica. If it isn’t outright crude and emotionally vacant, much of the erotica I’ve read sometimes seems just . . . well, silly. I’m happy to report that two of the stories in this volume are that rare thing indeed: Erotica that is actually both erotic and romantic.
