Tails of Love

A portion of the proceeds for Tails of Love benefits the Animal Adoption Foundation, a charitable organization. I’d love to recommend this anthology for no other reason alone. My job, however, is to evaluate the stories and not the cause. Probably the single biggest obstacle for short stories to overcome is the shortened format, and it’s the one problem Tails of Love doesn’t quite overcome. Most of these authors are new to me, but they all struck me as having talent. Unfortunately, there’s only so much one can do with roughly 35 pages per story.
