I’ve been on an anthology kick of late, and haven’t had the best luck with them. The Night Before Christmas is more satisfying than most I’ve tried recently. As might be expected for an anthology with so many stories, the results are somewhat mixed, but overall, it’s a good collection.
Normally I am not a fan of short stories, but lately I have attempted to broaden my reading horizons. The latest volume of Secrets includes four very different settings/types ranging from Shape-shifters to Contemporary to European Historical and back to Contemporary with a bit of suspense.
