We loved this dual-timeline story. 
If you’re a reader who enjoys stories based around a historically documented event, this is definitely the book for you. Grace Darling was a courageous woman who risked her life to save a group of survivors. I don’t know a lot about British history, so I can’t comment on how true-to-life Ms. Gaynor’s representation of these true events was or wasn’t. I can only speak to the huge amounts of joy I got from reading this engrossing tale that examines the lives of two very different women who live a century and an ocean apart, but who are linked by a shared history and a compulsion to do what is right at all costs. It’s a novel that is sure to enchant readers from the very first page and keep them reading late into the night.

Add to that Flynn’s recent divorce due to his (ex) wife sleeping with his brother (really, humans are the worst sometimes) and Flynn’s rope is a little short.
Reid and Gage and Sabrina – and everyone else at Monarch – force him to take a vacation, which he grudgingly does. Around the same time, Sabrina is forced out of her home because of plumbing drama and the two end up spending Flynn’s vacation in one of his family homes. The best friendship quickly turns into something more, but will they want to continue this evolution once the vacation bubble bursts and they head back to ‘real life’?

This is a fun but flawed historical romance.
The hero and heroine are strongly characterised, and I enjoyed the way the author revealed the similarities between them gradually as their relationship developed. I’m a fan of “compromised-into-marriage” plots, and that aspect of the novel was nicely done.
Overall, The Virgin of Clan Sinclair passed the time enjoyably, and anyone who has read the other books in the trilogy probably won’t want to miss it.

We adored this cowboy romance.
I took my time reading each chapter because I simply didn’t want it to end. A.M. Arthur’s Hard Ride is an unputdownable, super sexy read with lots of personality and a ton of heart. I enthusiastically recommend it to all readers, especially to those who may not normally read m/m romance.
