This recent release is getting a lot of love. 

I have a soft spot for chef romances and, in this story, we have an elite chef who moves to the small town of Dream Harbor all the way from Paris – talk about a culture shock! He comes to Dream Harbor when he learns he has a five-year-old daughter after her mother dies in a car accident. This is a cozy, small town, nanny/chef romance and I enjoyed this lighthearted story.

If you like scary vampire stories with a kickass heroine and a dash of romance; if you like stories which resonate and which, no doubt, will reveal more and more layers the more you listen/read or think about it, this is a must have.

There’s both internal and external conflict, lots of character development, tenderness and caretaking. The mood is like an enhanced reality where everyone is lovely but the characters still have their darknesses and insecurities. It’s a safe place in the best way. An A from me!

We haven’t reviewed this one but I remember liking it a lot back in the day.
