I love the Maiden Lane series and I tried the first book in her new series and ended up DNF it. She may be one of those authors we talked about who feels like her quality has gone down.
Agreed. I read and reviewed the first book in whatever her new series is called, and it was a mess. Perhaps not all authors have more than one series in them, but when it proves popular, the pressure is on to repeat the success in a way it perhaps wasn’t when they started it!
I hope it does come out, finally, in December! This is the second or third time it’s been pushed back.
Same thing is happening with Tessa Dare. Hope they are both well!
To Seduce a Sinner is also one of my favorite Elizabeth Hoyts. I’ve read them all; I must confess I found the Ghost of St. Giles plot thread my least favorite going through them.
