This is a fun read from MacLean. In her review Caz wrote: I enjoyed this story of two people who have been emotionally burned in different ways deciding to let go of the past and move on. The pacing is good, all the characters are well-drawn, and there is plenty of humour in the dialogue. Nick is a delightfully compelling hero. Gorgeous, intelligent, authoritative, and extremely sexy, he’s also a thoroughly decent, good man. The romance unfolds at a good pace, with the sparks flying between the protagonists from their very first meeting, and the love scenes are very sensual.

We love this whole series. In our DIK review of this one, book two, our reviewer wrote: My first thought as I closed this book was “Dammit, why isn’t there more!” which should go a long way to explaining why this second book from Ms. Martin is a DIK from me. As far as I’m concerned, here are the criteria for you to buy this immediately. Do you like contemporary romance? Do you either enjoy or tolerate American football in said romances?
