Lee’s Top 10 Romance List
About Me Favorite Romance Novels
I live in Seattle, Washington, am single and work as a legal assistant. I remember learning to read (comic strips) at a young age and nowadays try to read about 5-6 books a week. I love to travel, especially to Europe, and enjoy exploring smaller towns off the tourist track though London is my favorite city in the world. While traveling, I take lots of photos that I use to make birthday cards and calendars for friends and co-workers.
Historical romance and chick lit are my favorite genres, though I like romantic suspense without a lot of violence. I’ve read many books by the authors we are tabulating votes for in AAR’s Favorite Books poll.
Absolute Favorites

Personal Reading Tastes Favorites by Sub-Genre
What I’m a sucker for in a book: Stories where characters travel about the countryside, through other countries or across the sea, stories with pets who have personalities, and stories that make me laugh.
What I don’t particularly care for in a book: Books with sections devoted to the murderer’s thoughts, descriptions of extreme violence, and stories with vampires and shapeshifters.
What drives me absolutely nuts in a book: The use of the word “panther” to describe the lead male character, secret babies, stories with love scenes that go on and on for pages, and stories where the lead characters don’t communicate with each other – the kind where if they did, the story would be really short.
