In my misspent youth, among other things, I was a makeup artist. I didn't create dramatic looks--my clients were brides, women who couldn't figure out how to give up too much eye shadow, people for whom foundation was intimidating--but rather have always subscribed to the idea that the point of makeup is to enhance one's inherent beauty. I am someone who, pretty much every day, puts on BB cream (a lighter version of foundation/primer), a swipe of blush, and lipstick. If I'm feeling inspired, I'll add mascara and, for special occasions, eye liner. I love makeup and am forever looking for good, affordable options.I've found one, and after using it for six months, I thought I'd share it. It's a subscription based service but not one that you get something every month. Rather you spend up to a certain amount, if you choose--you can skip--you get products you've picked.
