Still catching up on my TBR…although Bull Moon Rising is on my radar.
Jacquelyn Benson’s newish Raiders of the Arcana series looks fun: Tomb of the Sun King
(Raiders of the Arcana #2) was released on October 1
October 1 – The Mistletoe Mystery (Molly the Maid #2.5) by Nita Prose
October 8 – Inheriting Miss Fortune (The Billionaire Brotherhood, #3) by Lucy Lennox (M/M)
October 15 – Strange Beasts by Susan J. Morris (LGBTQ+)
October 22 – Murder in Highbury by Vanessa Kelly
I am also looking forward to The Mistletoe Mystery! I haven’t read Vanessa Kelly before. Her murder mystery (in the Emma Knightly Mystery Series) you mentioned looks good! Thanks for sharing.
Inheriting Miss Fortune is waiting on my Kindle and I hope to read it soon. I liked the first 2 books in the series too!
Why, oh, why, isn’t Julie Anne Long publishing her book on Oct. 1st? Why? WHY?
Oh, I’m looking forward to the new Penny Reid one, as well as Ruby Dixon’s new series. Other than that, I’m still trying to catch up on previous months’ books!
Rachel Lee had an October release that came out this month. Covert Avenger is the 60th book in the Conard County: The Next Generation series. That is an impressive achievement. I really like the Conard County series, but the original series was much better than the Nest Generation books, which have ranged from middling to almost-but-not-quite as good as the original series. And who could have predicted that the character with the most continuity would be the irascible owner of the local diner?
Last I looked, the original series was not available in ebook format. I wish Harlequin would reissue them, particularly Miss Emmaline and the Archangel.
Huh. The two historicals I am looking at are both estranged-couple-reunites stories — Katrina Kendrick’s The Wayward Duke and The Beast Takes a Bride, by Julie Anne Long.
I have not read Katrina Kendrick before and am adding this to my list!
Looking forward to The Beast takes a Bride. Just read the last Julie Anne Long book so I’m ready for another!
Abby Jimenez has a short story, Situationship, about Maddie (from Just for the Summer) coming out Sept. 24th. I really liked Maddie so I’ve been looking forward to this one.
