I’m looking forward to the Corpse played dead which is the third book of the Lizzie Hardwicke series by Georgina Clarke. The first 2 books were released around 2019 and received A grades. I have a vague memory of why there was a long time between books but I don’t remember the specifics. I remember enjoying the first 2 of the series but I may need to do a reread .

Kris

You’re right. Oops on my part.

Manjari

I am also extremely excited for Viper in the Nest. The first two Lizzie Hardwicke books were great and I highly recommend them! It’s been a really long wait for book 3. I think there were some issues with the publisher and the author has a new publisher now? The book covers for the first 2 books have changed to match the upcoming book (which I’m a little sad about since I really liked the previous covers).

I read Viper in the Nest by Georgina Clarke (Lizzie Hardwicke book 3) last weekend and it was fantastic! I’m still thinking about how much I loved it. Book 4 (The Devil for a Brother) comes out in December and I can’t wait!

Hi Manjari, glad you’re enjoying the Lizzie Hardwicke series! Just to let you know that there’s a small update to Book 4 in the series, which will now be published in December under the title ‘A Kiss from the Devil’:

Thanks, Jem! I purchase in e-book from Amazon and have the book on my wishlist. It is still listing the previous title but I will watch for the changeover. I like the new title!

Jem Cook

Excellent, Manjari! Yes, changing book details (like the title!) mid-stream is a tiny nightmare but we’ve managed to update with most of the UK distributors and hopefully amazon.com isn’t going to be too far behind. Hope you enjoy it when it arrives! Jem

The one I’m really looking forward to is The Meaning of You by Jay Hogan. I’ll probably pick up the Jax Calder book, too. Other than that I’ll keep plowing through my TBR list!

I have a few April titles for review, but not many that I wanted to add to this list; April is pretty quiet for new m/m releases that interest me :(

Carrie G

I look forward to your reviews!

I’ve only read three of these:

Broken Souls and Bones

The Gods That Time Forgot

Hardly a Gentleman

The best of these, for me, is Broken Souls and Bones which feels original and has very interesting world-building.

So far, I only have two books on my April tbr:

Claire Kingsley’s WHISPERS AND WILDFIRE (April 10) is the fourth book in her Haven Brothers series of romantic-suspense novels. This outing involves a couple who dated in high school reconnecting years later.

Willow Dixon’s OFF LIMITS (April 17) is the fourth book in her Legacy Mechanics series of m/m romances. This is an antagonists-to-lovers story between step-brothers, one of whom appears to be a cam-boy. My favorite book using this theme is Nyla K’s FOR THE FANS; I’m curious as to how Dixon will measure up.

Manjari

I also look forward to Whispers and Wildfire, although overall I haven’t liked the Haven Brothers series quite as much as the Bailey Brothers.

DiscoDollyDeb

Agreed. The Haven Brothers are well-written (I expect nothing less from Kingsley), but I think she’s struggling with keeping the balance of romance and suspense just right. Back when her books weren’t overtly romantic-suspense, but just romance with some background mystery, she was able to let the romance be front-and-center in each book. Now you can see how the romance has to share space with the suspense plot—and that’s not always as successfully done.

Manjari

Yes, I think you are exactly right!
