It sure looks like April is shaping up to be a month of big releases! Quite a few of us are excited to see new books from the likes of Susanna Kearsley, Simone St. James, and Jo Goodman. Releases from Julie Anne Long, Jenny Colgan, Grace Burrowes, and Eloisa James weren’t far behind. I know I’m hoping for some good reads next month. What about you?

Apologies to Bessie Makris (not Betsy) for getting her name wrong. Thankyou Bessie for so generously compiling the monthly lists of new releases. Your list and the above list of eagerly anticipated new releases are both much appreciated.
There are already four books I am eagerly anticipating: Janice Kay Johnson To Love a Cop, Grace Burrowes The Duke’s Disaster, Amanda Quick/ Jayne Ann Krentz Garden of Lies and Nora Roberts The Liar. Now I realise there are offerings from other authors I like e.g. Jo Beverley I must add to my list. Plus I am always on the look out for new authors to try and Karen Templeton and Jo Goodman sound interesting. Thank heavens the new Courtney Milan isn’t out till May or my April TBR pile would be out of control. I am almost frightened to check Betsy’s monthly list in case I discover more “”must reads””.
I say this every month- I need to make a list of all these upcoming releases!
I’m excited for The Garden of Lives by Amanda Quick on 4/21 and Overruled by Emma Chase 4/28. I think these aren’t technically considered April releases here but I’m still looking forward to them.
I’m looking forward to Sherry Thomas’s first contemporary romance:

I think it is self-published, which is why it isn’t up at amazon yet. I think Sherry Thomas is the most amazing writer of historicals, and can’t wait to see how she makes the transition to contemporary romance.
Ooh, that’s exciting news! Thanks for sharing, and I’ll definitely keep my eye out for it.
Oh, I’d forgotten about the Linden novella – I’m looking forward to that one, too, as I’ve really enjoyed the other books in the series.
April is indeed looking like a great month for new releases. I am very much looking forward to the new Julie Anne Long and the new Jo Goodman, both of which are getting some good buzz. I’m also anticipating a new Courtney Milan and a first book in her brand new series (Once Upon a Marquess), though I’m not sure if the original April 15th due date will still stand.
Yes – April is looking like a promising month! I’m looking for the new Courtney Milan, too, but I was afraid to list it since I don’t have a confirmed release date.
I checked on Goodreads and it’s now showing up as a May release. Still, it’s coming :)
