Good point on re-releases — not that it’s not a cause to celebrate necessarily. Re-release that old Balogh that follows after A Chance Encounter (is it Wood Nymph?) and I’ll be dancing in the streeets! But not to pile on, yes, please. Love how La Nora does it: big ole label on never before published Nora!
I’m eagerly awaiting Robyn Carr’s latest. As for the Linda Howard re-release, I’ll definitely be avoiding that one. I’ve read a couple of her books from the 1980’s and they were awful. Why they get re-released I have no idea.
I think that the name “”eagerly awaited”” suggests the book is new. If you were so eager, you could buy it on e-bay or amazon secondhand.
My suggestion would be to indicate which “”eagerly anticipated”” were “”new”” and which were “”rereleases.”” Some of us have been reading for many years and hate to buy something we already have. If you know something is a rerelease, I would appreciate it if you would mark it as such.

Yes, you’re right. Both the Linda Howard and Anne Stuart listed are re-releases. We allow re-releases, paperback releases of hardcovers, etc… for our eagerly anticipated books of the month. For myself, I know that I was in elementary school when Anne Stuart’s Tangled Lies came out the first time, so I’m glad to catch up on the re-release!
Glad to see Linnea Sinclair’s HOPE’S FOLLY on the list. Looking forward to that one.
Tears of the Renegade was published in 1985 as Silhouette Intimate Moments 61; don’t remember much about it though – maybe that’s just as well for Ms. Howard.
Tears of the Renegade by Linda Howard is a re-release of a 2001 title, or at least that’s what a Google search seemed to say.
For myself, I’m dying to get my hands on the next in Arianna Franklin’s series. She does a fabulous job of setting the reader right down in the midst of medieval England.
