To aid him, his mother, a nurse at the time, gave him this diet. My friend dieted three days a week, every week for a couple of months and easily lost the weight he needed. He gave the diet to me and I used it many times over the years, but eventually lost my copy. 1 tblsp Peanut Butter


1/2 c Tuna——————–5 Saltines————————-1 Hardboiled Egg
1 Slice Toast——————1 c Cottage Cheese————- 1 Slice Toast

DINNER————————- DINNER—————————DINNER

2 Slices Meat (3oz)———- 2 Hot Dogs————————-1 c Tuna
1 c Green Beans————– 1 c Broccoli————————1 c Beets

Substitute Diet Soft Drink for Black Coffee or Tea
Drink only water between meals
Use only pepper or a little salt
No Mayo, sauces, or condiments of any kind
Follow diet EXACTLY and you will lose 10 lbs in three days

That’s what the diet directions say. What I’ve found is that the men in my life will lose ten pounds easily, sometimes by the second day. I normally lose seven or eight. That’s OK, I’ll take it. Also, you can substitute the heck out of this diet and obtain the same results. My husband can’t tolerate cottage cheese, so he eats cheddar. I hate beets and cauliflower, so I have double green beans. And I have mayo with my tuna. The results seem to be the same whether you follow to the letter, or just to the best of your ability. (Through extensive testing I have discovered you can substitute Doritos or Cheetos for a vegetable and still lose five pounds!) If you diet on T/W/T, you can have the weekend and Monday to relax a little.

Do you diet? I despise dieting in all forms and would rather exercise. But if I have to diet, this one is tolerable because you’re only dieting for a few days and you get to eat a lot of food. Have you tried this diet before? Successfully? Will you try it now? My husband and I started it today.
