The world, I sometimes feel, is divided into two categories: the Pythonites, and the non-Pythonites.  It took me a while to even understand what they were talking about, and some of the stuff I really don’t get (hello Meaning of Life).  But together the comedy troupe known as Monty Python have produced moments of sheer comedic brilliance.

The other day I had a sudden hankering to watch some Monty Python, and good time was had by all.  I watched clips of old favourites – the French Taunters (from Holy Grail), the Latin lesson from Brian, the mattress skit, Ministry of Silly Walks, Silly Job Interview, and Nudge Nudge, which actually has a punch line (and a pretty good one, too).  To name a few.  And I discovered some new ones, of which Flying Lesson and Pope and Michaelangelo are my favourites.

I had a hard time deciding which video to post, because, really, there are so many good ones.  But in the end, I decided to go for the classic dead parrot.  Enjoy.
