I guess the fall TV season is officially underway here in the U.S. It’s sort of hard to tell anymore, with new shows starting all year long (and I do enjoy that).

As usual, I’m watching a lot of reality TV. Survivor’s been on for two weeks, and I have rather mixed feelings about it. While I really hate Russell, he is definitely playing the game.

I’m also getting my fill of dance, with So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing With the Stars on in the same season. I prefer SYTYCD, but will be happy when the auditions are over, and we’re once again down to the top 20 dancers. Three nights of DWTS was too much for me this week, so I just recorded the performance shows and fast forwarded through a lot of it.

And of course, my absolute favorite, non-dancing show, starts this Sunday. Yes, The Amazing Race is back for another season of around the globe competition. I’ll definitely be glued to my television this Sunday.  I’m also very happy that they’ll be spending a lot of time in Europe this season, with stops in The Netherlands, Sweden, Estonia, and the Czech Republic.

However, what has really surprised me is how much I’m enjoying another new scripted show this season. Glee, with it’s snarky humor, and fantastic music and dance routines, has captured my attention. I’m not sure if it’ll hold my attention for a full season, but so far, it’s must see TV for me.

How about you? Are there any new shows you’re enjoying?[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]

My first memory is sitting with my mother on a blanket in our backyard surrounded by books and she is reading one of them to me. My love of reading was encouraged by my parents and it continues to today. I’ve gone through a lot of different genres over the years, but I currently primarily read mysteries (historical mysteries are my favorites) and romances (focusing on contemporaries, categories, and steampunk). When I’m not reading or working, I love to travel, knit, and work on various community projects.
