When Veils of Time arrived in my mailbox I did a little happy dance. Maggie Shayne and Lynn Kurland are two my most beloved authors. Surprisingly, it wasn’t their stories that left a lasting impression on me but that of new-to-me author Ingrid Weaver.
This anthology has the perfect theme for a summer release: all five stories are set on or near a body of water. The result is a mostly satisfying mix – one real winner, three solid stories, and one slightly silly but nonetheless amusing tale.
